Terms of Use
Xendmo provides foreign virtual cards to customers, enabling them to make payments subject to certain eligibility requirements. These may depend on your occupation, country of residency or incorporation, applicable anti-money laundering regulations, Xendmo's risk management policies, and other factors determined at Xendmo’s sole discretion.
To prevent fraud and money laundering, we do not accept users with unknown sources of income or ambiguous lines of business/occupations. Users are required to provide valid reasons for needing a foreign virtual account. Xendmo reserves the right to refuse your virtual account application and will only verify your application after thoroughly reviewing your submitted documents and details. Approval is contingent upon satisfying our assessment criteria, ensuring the account is being used for legitimate purposes.
Our platform is strictly intended for:
Making payments on e-commerce and freelancer platforms
Receiving your salary or wages;
Receiving payouts from e-commerce and freelancer platforms;
Receiving payments from family, friends, or other personal sources;
Receiving payments from clients or third parties for legitimate business purposes.
RESTRICTIONS ON USING OUR PLATFORM
1. Transacting on Your Own Account
All activities under a Xendmo account are deemed to be conducted by the registered user. You must only use Xendmo services to transact on your own account and not on behalf of another person or entity. Sharing your username, password, or mobile device for account access is prohibited. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your user credentials and any other sensitive information associated with your account.
Xendmo will not be liable for losses arising from the theft or misuse of your credentials or mobile device or unauthorized transactions conducted under your account. If you suspect unauthorized activity, contact Xendmo immediately to block or restrict your account.
2. One Account Per Person or Entity
Each individual or entity is allowed to open only one Xendmo account unless expressly authorized in writing by Xendmo. Duplicate accounts detected by Xendmo may be closed or merged at the company’s sole discretion.
RESTRICTED ACTIVITIES
You may use Xendmo’s platform only for lawful purposes. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
Violating any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations, or causing Xendmo to breach such laws.
Engaging in fraudulent or unlawful activities, or facilitating fraudulent or unlawful transactions.
Harmful activities, including attempts to harm minors or engage in abusive or harmful behavior.
Distributing unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, or spam.
Introducing malicious software, such as viruses, spyware, or any harmful code.
Using your Xendmo account in a way that results in complaints, disputes, reversals, chargebacks, or liabilities to Xendmo, other customers, or third parties.
RESTRICTED LINES OF BUSINESS
Xendmo does not support transactions related to the following restricted lines of business:
Illegal Activities: Criminal or illegal acts, such as drug trafficking, child exploitation, human trafficking, terrorism financing, and illegal wildlife trade.
Gambling: Online betting, lotteries, and other gambling-related activities.
Currency Exchange and Crypto-Related Transactions: Unlicensed foreign exchange (FX) or cryptocurrency trading.
Investment Schemes: “Get-rich-quick” schemes or fraudulent investment platforms.
Crowdfunding: Unauthorized or unregulated crowdfunding activities.
Counterfeiting: Sale or distribution of counterfeit goods or intellectual property infringement.
Firearms: Sale of firearms, ammunition, or related accessories.
Adult Content: Distribution of adult entertainment, pornography, or related services.
Drugs and Pharmaceuticals: Sale of unregulated or illegal drugs and pharmaceutical products.
Unlicensed Financial Services: Financial activities requiring regulatory approval that are not duly licensed.
Hate Speech and Violence: Promotion of hate, violence, or racial intolerance.
Note: Xendmo may pre-approve certain restricted activities under exceptional circumstances, following a detailed review. However, transactions involving acts that violate applicable laws will not be permitted under any conditions.
The use of Xendmo’s platform and services will be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, including but not limited to the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act and other applicable financial regulations.
